Removes Dirt and Stains from Cookware
If your cookware is covered in embedded dirt and burnt food particles, add a few drops each of fabric softener and hot water and then let it soak. After about an hour, the dirt should wipe off easily.

Cleans Stubborn
Residue If your home’s hard surfaces are stained with stubborn residue, mix a few tablespoons of fabric softener with a cup or two of water in a spray bottle. Apply the solution to the stains with a cloth and then buff with a clean cloth after applying the solution.

Remove Hairspray Stains
If you accidentally put hairspray on your mirror, walls or vanity, simply mix one part fabric softener with two parts water in a spray bottle. Spray the solution on sticky stains and then wipe with a clean, dry cloth.

If you find ants and other insects invading your home, stop them by mixing water and a few drops of fabric softener in a spray bottle. Spray the solution on the areas where you notice the insects congregating and they should be gone in a short time.

Removes Pet Hair
Mix one part fabric softener with two parts water in a spray bottle. Spray the solution on your carpets and then let them dry. When vacuuming, you will notice that the bristles are sucked up much more easily.
