In addition to saving a laundry that has rubbed off, bay leaves can be used to solve other household problems. They are, in fact, effective in scenting the house and eliminating bad odors.
For this, you can infuse in a saucepan over low heat, a few bay leaves with a little water. When the water has boiled, remove the pan from the heat.
You can then move the pan to the rooms you want to perfume, in order to spread the odorous steam that emerges from the pan.

Another trick is to burn dry bay leaves, using a lighter. When the flame begins to consume the leaves, blow on it to extinguish it.
Then keep the bay leaves in an ashtray or metal container so that they spread their pleasant fragrance.
Note that you can also use eucalyptus leaves to perfume your home and chase away unpleasant odors.
Bay leaves to eliminate bad odors from toilets The laurel can also be used to disinfect and eliminate bad odors in the toilet bowl.
To do this, mix in a container a little household alcohol, water and a few drops of laurel essential oil sauce.
Use this mixture to clean the toilet thoroughly, or pour the solution directly into the bowl.
Bay leaves to perfume the soil
This aromatic herb is also effective in scenting the soil. For this, you can prepare a homemade natural cleaner by mixing an infusion of bay leaves with white vinegar.
Caution: Before using bay leaves in the house, certain precautions are necessary: babies and people with asthma should avoid them, so as not to develop an allergy.
