Step 1: Prepare Your Crust
If you’re using a store-bought graham cracker crust, simply remove it from its packaging and set it aside. If you prefer a homemade crust, you can easily prepare it by combining crushed graham crackers or cookies with a few tablespoons of melted butter, pressing it into a pie pan, and chilling it in the refrigerator until firm.
Step 2: Mix the Filling Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the whipped topping and sweetened condensed milk. Using a spatula or a hand mixer, gently fold the two ingredients together until fully combined. Be careful not to overmix, as you want the whipped topping to retain its light, airy texture.
Step 3: Add Optional Flavors
If desired, add a few drops of vanilla extract or a handful of chopped fresh berries to the filling mixture for an extra burst of flavor. Stir gently to distribute any added ingredients evenly throughout the filling.
Step 4: Fill the Pie Crust
Pour the creamy filling mixture into the prepared pie crust, using a spatula to smooth the top evenly. Make sure the filling reaches all the edges of the crust and creates a level surface for even freezing.
Step 5: Freeze the Pie
Cover the pie with plastic wrap or aluminum foil, and place it in the freezer. Allow it to freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm. For best results, let it freeze overnight to achieve the ideal frosty texture.
