I am soooooo excited and proud! Thanks to all your recipes, I made chile rellenos for my familly ! I love peppers They turned out perfect.. I literally cant wipe the smile off my face lol.
Classic Chile Rellenos Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Chile Rellenos:
6 large poblano peppers
2 cups shredded cheese (Monterey Jack, cheddar, or a blend)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 large eggs, separated
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Vegetable oil, for frying
For the Tomato Sauce (optional):
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
