Sauté the onion and garlic:– In a large saucepan or casserole, melt the butter over medium heat.– Add the sliced onion and fry until it becomes tender and translucent, about 5 minutes.– Add the sliced garlic and cook for another 1 minute, until it is fragrant.2.
