1. Prepare the Cajun Honey Butter:
Mix the Seasoning: Combine all the Cajun seasoning ingredients in a bowl.
Whip the Butter: Beat the butter for 2 minutes using an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Blend in the honey and 1 tablespoon of the Cajun seasoning. (Note: You can store the remaining seasoning in an airtight container for up to 3 months.)
2. Season the Salmon:
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel on all sides.
Rub the salmon with oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Cook the Salmon:
Heat a grill or grill pan. Cook the salmon fillets for 6-8 minutes on each side, until the fish is opaque and has a nice crust.
4. Add the Cajun Honey Butter:
Turn off the grill or stove. Spread a generous amount of the Cajun Honey Butter over each fillet.
Allow the butter to melt for 30 seconds, then spread it over the salmon with the back of a spoon. Flip the salmon and repeat on the other side.
Enjoy your Cajun Honey Butter Salmon for a sweet, spicy, and savory meal!
