In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, diced red onion, chopped parsley, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
Form the mixture into four patties.
Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Grill the patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
Toast the hamburger buns if desired.
Spread ranch dressing on the bottom of each bun.
Place a chicken patty on top of the ranch dressing.
Serve immediately.
