- 4 large russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:
Preparing the Potatoes
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Potatoes: Wash the russet potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel. Peel the potatoes if desired, or leave the skin on for added texture. Cut the potatoes into evenly sized fries, about 1/4 inch thick.
Coating the Fries
- Coat with Cornstarch: Place the cut potatoes in a large bowl and sprinkle them with cornstarch. Toss the potatoes until they are evenly coated with the cornstarch, which helps to create a crispy exterior.
- Seasoning: Drizzle olive oil over the coated potatoes and sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss the potatoes again until they are evenly seasoned.
