Step 1: Disconnect the Power
Before you start any repair work, make sure to turn off the power to the socket you are fixing. This is crucial to avoid accidents and ensure your safety.

Step 2: Disassemble the Plug
Use the cutter to carefully cut around the broken plug and pry it open. Work slowly to avoid damaging any internal wires.

Step 3: Identify and Mark the Cables
Use the white marker to mark each wire according to its position and connection. This step is essential to ensure you reassemble the plug correctly after the repair.

Step 4: Disconnect the Wires
Use pliers to disconnect the wires from the broken plug. If any wires are damaged, trim off the damaged portion, leaving a clean section to work with.

Step 5: Prepare the Cables
Use the wire cutter to strip about 1-2 cm of insulation from the ends of the wires, exposing the inner conductors. Be careful not to cut too many strands of the wire.
