1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Season the Chicken:
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dredge them in flour, shaking off any excess.
3. Brown the Chicken:
- In a large ovenproof skillet or Dutch oven, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
4. Caramelize the Apples:
- In the same skillet, add the sliced apples and cook until caramelized and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Deglaze the Pan:
- Pour the apple brandy into the skillet and stir, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Allow the brandy to reduce slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
