German Chocolate Poke Cake

Instructions:
Prepare the Cake:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix well until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Poke the Cake:

Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool for 5 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup of caramel sauce until well combined.
Using the end of a wooden spoon, poke holes in the cake at 1-inch intervals.
Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the cake, letting it soak into the holes.
