Homemade Meatballs with Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Instructions:

Preparation of meatballs:

Mix the ground meat, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, paprika, salt and pepper in a bowl until smooth.

Form into golf ball sized balls.

Heat olive oil in a frying pan and cook the meatballs over medium heat, turning regularly, until golden brown and cooked through.

Reserve them.
Preparation of the cream and tomato sauce

mushrooms:
In the same pan, add a little butter and brown the shallot until translucent.

Add the mushrooms and cook until golden brown.

Pour in the chicken broth and reduce by half.

Stir in the crème fraîche and Dijon mustard. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.

Season with salt and pepper.
