Cleaning the washing machine with white vinegar

White vinegar disinfects deeply and its acidity helps remove residual dirt. It also helps freshen up the entire washing machine.

Fill the washing machine with hot water, add 750 ml of white vinegar and run a short wash. When the wash cycle is finished, add 150 grams of baking soda and run the next one.

When you are finished, leave the washing machine door open to allow it to dry completely. Repeat this once a month.

Clean the washing machine gasket with lemon and hydrogen peroxide

One of the parts of the washing machine most prone to the accumulation of mold and unpleasant odors is the rubber seal, due to high humidity.

Once you have your gloves on, pour 100 ml of lemon juice, 250 ml of hydrogen peroxide and 3 litres of water into a container and mix well.

Use a sponge to apply the eco-friendly disinfectant you just prepared and rub thoroughly, making sure to remove all residue and dirt. Finally, dry thoroughly.

Now that you know how to deep clean your washing machine, we are sure your clothes will be cleaner, dust-free and smell great.
