DIY sanitary blocks:

Materials needed:

Sodium bicarbonate vinegar

White essential oils (lavender, tea tree, mint, etc.)
Ice cube trays
A bowl
A spoon
A pipette (optional)
Instructions:

Start by mixing one part baking soda with one part white vinegar in a bowl. The reaction between the two products will create a bubbly foam.
Add 10 to 20 drops of essential oils to the mixture. Essential oils not only give your toilet blocks a pleasant scent, but also have antibacterial and anti-limescale properties.
Stir the mixture well until you get a pasty consistency. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more vinegar. If it is too runny, add a little more baking soda.
Once you have the desired consistency, pour the mixture into the ice cube trays. Be sure to pack the mixture tightly into the trays.
Let the toilet blocks dry for at least 24 hours or until they are completely solid.
Once dry, remove the hygiene blocks from the trays and store them in an airtight container until use.

How to use them:

To use your homemade toilet blocks, simply place one in your toilet tank. Each time you drain the water, the sanitary clogs slowly dissolve, releasing their fresh, clean scent into the bathroom and helping to fight bacteria and limescale.

With this economical and natural method, you’ll always have a bathroom that smells great without having to spend a fortune on expensive toilet blocks filled with harmful chemicals. Try this DIY recipe and transform your bathroom into a welcoming and hygienic space for you and your family!
