Boil the Mixture
In a pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil.
Add the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger to the boiling water.
Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
Add Lemon and Turmeric
Add the lemon slices and turmeric to the pot.
Continue to simmer for another 5 minutes.
Cool and Strain
Remove the pot from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
Strain the liquid into a glass jar or bottle, discarding the solids.
Add Honey and Black Pepper
Once the mixture has cooled to a warm temperature (not hot), stir in the honey and black pepper.
Mix well until fully combined.
