Bananas: how to store them
Keeping bananas for more than a few days without them rotting seems impossible, but nothing is, especially if you know the right tips and remedies. To start, of course, you have to buy the amount of bananas you want; scrub their skin with a toothbrush and a little baking soda; rinse them under running water and then dry them with absorbent paper.
We continue by depriving the fruit of both ends and, without removing the skin, we cut the bananas into pieces about two fingers thick. Once this is done, all you have to do is equip yourself with one or more glass jars of about 700 ml and insert the following ingredients in this precise order: a bay leaf; two cloves of garlic or two cloves; two slices of chili pepper (previously cut); a teaspoon of coriander seeds; a teaspoon of dill seeds and a teaspoon of pepper mix (white pepper, black pepper, green pepper, pink pepper and allspice).

Afterwards, we can insert the banana pieces (in a larger jar there will be about a dozen) and two or three more slices of chili pepper. Then we add a teaspoon of sugar; a teaspoon and a half of salt; a teaspoon of 70% vinegar and a little hot water.

How to end the preservation process
After placing all the ingredients in the jars, you must sterilize them. First, let’s equip ourselves with a pot filled with hot water and insert a piece of cloth inside to prevent the jars from exploding once inserted inside. When we have placed all the containers in the pot with their lids simply placed on top, all that remains is to put everything on the fire and let it sterilize for about ten minutes.

Once the necessary time has elapsed, all that remains is to dry the jars, close them tightly so that no air enters and keep them cool for two years.
