Take the steak out of the fridge about 30 minutes before cooking to let it come to room temperature.
Season the steak generously with salt, pepper, and any extra seasonings you enjoy.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle in some oil.
Sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side for a medium-rare finish, adjusting time depending on the thickness.
Remove from heat and let the steak rest for a few minutes before serving.
Fry the Eggs:

Lower the heat to medium and add more oil or butter if needed.
Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook them however you like: sunny-side up, over-easy, or scrambled.
Prepare the Hash Browns:

Grate the potatoes and rinse them under cold water. Use a towel to squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
Heat oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Spread the grated potatoes into a flat layer and cook until crispy and golden on the bottom, about 5-6 minutes, then flip and cook the other side.
Season the hash browns with salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings you prefer.
Serve your perfectly cooked steak with eggs and crispy homemade hash browns for a satisfying meal that’s sure to impress.
