Another method for frying food without oil spray and the pan itself is to use flour. You can cover the outside of the food with flour (or frying flour). The flour will absorb the majority of the water on the outside of the food, preventing the water from contacting the oil and causing it to splatter. Coating the food with a thin layer of flour also makes it crispier.

Another option is to wait for the oil to heat before adding a teaspoon of flour to the pan. Using chopsticks, swirl the flour until it covers the bottom of the pan. Then add the meal and cook as usual.

To avoid splashing oil, fry in a deep-fried pan. Using a deep-fried pan also makes it simple to cook meals in oil. You can find specialization frying pans for convenience. In addition to the pan, these sorts of pans can be covered with a food basket for easy food placement and removal or a rack to place food on top to drain oil.
