7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
8. For the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, and enough milk to make a smooth, pourable consistency.
9. Once the cookies are cool, pour or spread the glaze over each cookie. Let the glaze set before serving.
