â–˘15 ounce can tomato sauce
â–˘salt and pepper to taste
â–˘2 tablespoons brown sugar
â–˘1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
FOR THE CABBAGE ROLLS
â–˘1 pound ground beef I use 90% lean
â–˘1 cup cooked rice
â–˘1/2 cup onion finely chopped
â–˘1 teaspoon garlic minced
â–˘1 teaspoon salt
â–˘1/2 teaspoon pepper
â–˘1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves chopped, divided use
â–˘1 egg
â–˘1 head cabbage
