Sweet temptation you can’t resist! Creamy caramel pudding on sponge cake – A recipe that will please your loved ones
To make the sponge cake:
In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff. In a separate bowl, mix the yolks, milk, oil, flour, baking powder, and soda. Then gently mix the beaten egg whites with the remaining ingredients to make a light and fluffy sponge cake.
To mix and bake:
Gently spread the sponge cake over the poured flan layer. Place everything in a larger pan filled with hot water so that the cooking takes place in a bain-marie. Bake at 160°C (320°F) for about 40 minutes, until the sponge cake rises and the flan is set.
