First, prepare a pot of boiling water and mix 1 dishwashing tablet/dishwashing powder into it. Soak the pot in the solution.
If the stains are not too many, you only need to soak for about 1-2 hours. If the stains are longer, you should soak the pot in water overnight.
After soaking and washing, you just need to take the pot out and scrub it with a sponge normally used to wash dishes.
Dishwashing tablets and powder contain a variety of oxidizing chemicals that can effectively remove burnt marks and grease that have accumulated on the bottom of the pot over time.
