Start by mixing one part baking soda with one part white vinegar in a bowl. The reaction between the two products will create an effervescent foam.
Add 10 to 20 drops of essential oils to the mixture. The essential oils will not only give your toilet blocks a pleasant scent, but they will also have antibacterial and anti-limescale properties.
Stir the mixture well until you get a paste-like consistency. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more vinegar. If it is too runny, add a little more baking soda.
Once you have the desired consistency, pour the mixture into the ice cube trays. Make sure to pack the mixture tightly into the trays.
Let the toilet blocks dry for at least 24 hours or until they are completely solid.
Once dry, remove the toilet blocks from the trays and store them in an airtight container until ready to use.
