For the Crust:

  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed into fine crumbs
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix

For the Topping:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 8-10 Oreo cookies, crushed for garnish

Instructions

1. Preparing the Crust

  1. Crush the Oreos: Place the 24 Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they become fine crumbs. Alternatively, you can place them in a sealed plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix with Butter: In a medium bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with the melted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  3. Form the Crust: Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Use the bottom of a measuring cup or a flat glass to press the crumbs firmly.
  4. Chill the Crust: Place the crust in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.

2. Making the Filling

  1. Whip the Cream: In a large mixing bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  2. Mix Cream Cheese: In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until well combined.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and well combined.
  4. Prepare Pudding: In a separate bowl, whisk together the cold milk and instant chocolate pudding mix for about 2 minutes, or until thickened.
  5. Layer the Filling: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled Oreo crust. Then, spread the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese layer.
