For the caramel:
75 g (6 tablespoons) sugar
25 ml (1 3/4 tablespoons) hot water
How to prepare this sweet treat?
To make the caramel:
Melt the sugar in a saucepan over low heat until golden brown, creating an aromatic caramel. When the sugar is ready, pour the caramel into the mold of your choice, spreading it evenly over the bottom.
To make the flan:
In a separate bowl, beat 4 eggs, 2 egg yolks, and sugar until frothy. Add the milk and vanilla extract, mix well. Then pour the flan mixture over the caramel layer in the mold.
